Did you know there are health benefits to reading? That's right, just like there are benefits to physical activity, there are benefits to reading. Especially, during these times it is more important than ever that we stay both mentally and physically healthy.
Just like you need to exercise 15 to 30 minutes a day, you also should read 15 to 30 minutes a day. Reading can decrease mental health decline, just like physical activity. Both reading and exercise can help you sleep better at night, which affects your overall health. They both can increases longevity. Reading and exercising is therapeutic for people with illnesses. They both help individuals to distress and build empathy for others.
